Santa Fe Minerals Nears Completion of Cote dIvoire Gold Project Acquisition
Santa Fe Minerals Limited (ASX: SFM) has provided an update on its proposed acquisition of gold projects in Côte d’Ivoire from WIA Gold Limited, confirming that the transaction is nearing completion. All conditions precedent under the sale agreement have now been satisfied, with the exception of completion of the associated capital raising. The company expects to receive the capital raising proceeds by the end of the current week. Subject to receipt of funds, completion of the transaction, including the issue of consideration securities and shares under the capital raising, is anticipated to occur by the end of January two thousand and twenty six. The acquisition represents a key step in expanding Santa Fe’s gold exploration footprint in West Africa, a region recognised for its prospective geology and established mining operations. The company is positioning itself to progress exploration activities following completion, with the transaction providing a platform for near-term project advancement and longer-term growth.
