Peter Warren Expands Western Sydney Footprint with Wakeling Automotive Acquisition
Peter Warren Automotive Holdings Limited (ASX: PWR) has announced the acquisition of Wakeling Automotive, a large multi-franchise dealership group operating across Macarthur, Wollongong, Shellharbour and Moss Vale in New South Wales. The transaction adds 30 dealerships representing 16 major automotive brands and delivers approximately AU$500 million in annual revenue, materially enhancing the Group’s scale in the high-growth Western Sydney corridor.
The purchase consideration of around AU$28 million, comprising goodwill and net assets at completion, will be funded through existing debt facilities and is expected to be immediately earnings per share accretive after funding costs. Wakeling Automotive is a well-established, family-owned business with a 40-year operating history and approximately 370 employees. Its senior management team will remain in place following completion.
Subject to regulatory and OEM approvals, the acquisition reinforces Peter Warren’s disciplined consolidation strategy and strengthens its competitive position in one of Australia’s fastest-growing automotive markets.
