Nordic Resources Extends Kopsa Mineralisation With Strong Step-Out Drill Results.
Nordic Resources Limited (ASX:NNL) has delivered strong new drill results from its maiden program at the Kopsa gold-copper project in Finland, significantly extending shallow mineralisation beyond the existing 815 thousand ounce gold-equivalent resource. Two step-out holes drilled to the southeast intersected wide zones of gold and copper well outside the current resource model, including standout intervals such as 55 metres at 1.03g/t AuEq from 132 metres and 54 metres at 0.92g/t AuEq from 75 metres. These results confirm a clear continuation of mineralisation into an untested tonalite contact zone, opening up meaningful potential for resource expansion.
Management highlighted that these discoveries strengthen the case for further step-out drilling, with upcoming assay batches expected through Q1 2026. Alongside Kopsa, the broader Middle Ostrobothnia Gold Belt portfolio hosts a combined 1.23 million ounces AuEq, with a significant proportion already in Measured and Indicated categories, providing a strong foundation for future growth.
