Locksley Resources Limited Identifies High-Grade Silver Corridor at Mojave Project
Locksley Resources Limited (ASX: LKY) has revealed the discovery of a high-grade silver mineralised corridor at its Mojave Project in the United States. Recent rock chip sampling returned an impressive 409g/t of silver, confirming significant silver mineralisation about 3 kilometers from the original discovery. The identified corridor also demonstrated substantial base metal mineralisation, with samples showing up to 4.2% copper, 1.5% lead, and 1.5% zinc, indicating a polymetallic system.
The mineralised zone extends for approximately 2.4 kilometers, pointing to the potential presence of a large-scale hydrothermal system. Twelve rock samples returned values exceeding 30g/t of silver, further enhancing the potential of this corridor. This discovery represents a significant step forward in the company's exploration activities, opening up a new and potentially lucrative area within the Mojave Project. Future exploration plans include detailed mapping, geochemistry, and geophysical surveys to identify drill-ready targets, which will pave the way for further development.
