Unico Silver Limited (ASX: USL) has announced remarkable drill results from its 100%-owned Joaquin Project in Santa Cruz, Argentina, confirming significant potential for the development of an open-pit silver-gold mine. The ongoing drilling program, which included 31 holes (4,782m), highlighted the exceptional performance of the La Negra SE zone.
Standout results included hole JDD113-25, returning 107m at 165gpt AgEq from 18m, the best drill hole of 2025. Other notable intersections from the La Negra SE area include 74m at 134gpt AgEq and 81m at 107gpt AgEq, demonstrating broad, shallow zones of oxide mineralization with true thickness ranging from 15 to 75 meters. With drilling at La Negra SE nearing completion, the company is advancing directly to a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS)-level Mineral Resource Estimate. The progress supports Unico Silver’s transition from exploration to development, with continued upside potential from regional exploration and additional targets like La Rubia.
