Far Northern Extends Gold Mineralization at Bridge Creek with Strong Drilling Results
Far Northern Resources Limited (ASX: FNR) has reported encouraging assay results from Phase 2 drilling at the Bridge Creek project in the Northern Territory, confirming extensions to known gold mineralization across multiple directions. The results demonstrate mineralization extending to the north, south and down dip, with notable intercepts including 2 metres at 3.10 grams per tonne gold and 1 metre at 2.64 grams per tonne gold. Southern step-out drilling has expanded the mineralized footprint by approximately 720 metres from the current resource, while deeper drilling has intersected mineralization around 75 metres below the existing ore body. Infill drilling also returned strong grades, including 2 metres at 4.30 grams per tonne gold and 1 metre at 5.17 grams per tonne gold, supporting continuity within the system. These results validate the presence of a south-dipping primary lode and highlight potential for resource expansion. Ongoing drilling is expected to further define the scale and geometry of the mineralized system.
