EP447 JV (Talon Energy and Strike Energy) signed a Gas Supply Agreement with Santos-WA Limited

Talon Energy Ltd (ASX: TPD) announced that EP447 Joint Venture partners, Talon (45%) and Strike Energy Limited (55%) had signed a long-term Gas Supply Agreement with Santos-WA Limited. The JV partners have entered into a long-term gas supply contract with Santos to provide a minimum of 36.5 PJ of gas from the Walyering gas field on a firm basis, aiming to start from Q1 2023, for a five years’ time period.

The agreement comprises tranches of firm gas volumes, which are contracted on a "take or pay" basis, and "as available" gas volumes, which gives the JV the flexibility to deliver further production into the contract as the field ramps up towards its maximum production capacity. Santos has a well-known domestic sales gas portfolio in Western Australia, and this partnership allows the JV to bring Walyering's gas production to market promptly and on attractive terms.
