Dalaroo Advances Cote dIvoire Gold Exploration with 4,300+ Samples Across 9km Corridor
Dalaroo Metals Ltd (ASX: DAL) has wrapped up an extensive soil geochemistry exploration campaign at the Gold Ridge Prospect within its Bondoukou Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire, advancing the project closer to its first drilling phase. The exploration campaign covered an interpreted nine-kilometre mineralised corridor across Priority 1 and Priority 2 target areas. A total of 4,363 soil, channel, grab and QA/QC samples were submitted for laboratory analysis, with results expected to support future trenching, auger drilling and reverse circulation drilling programs.
The company collected 3,612 primary soil samples over approximately 194.5 kilometres of sampling lines using a 200m by 50m grid pattern. Historical rock-chip sampling within the corridor returned grades of up to 17.95 grams of gold per tonne, strengthening the project’s exploration potential.
Field observations identified widespread quartz veining, iron oxide alteration and artisanal mining activity, which are considered indicators of hydrothermal gold systems commonly found across West Africa’s Birimian Greenstone Belt. Dalaroo stated that upcoming activities will focus on assay interpretation, anomaly definition and the advancement of drill-ready targets across the Bondoukou Project.
