Change Financial Limited (ASX: CCA) announced that it had received binding commitments for a placement to institutional and sophisticated investors to raise AU$0.75 million. The placement comprised the issue of approx. 15.0 million fully paid ordinary shares at an issue price of AU$0.05 per new share, and the issue price represents a 13.8% discount to the last close price on 29 July 2022 of AU$0.058 and an 11.1% discount to the Theoretical Ex-Rights Price of AU$0.056.
In addition to the placement, the company also announced an Entitlements Offer, in which Eligible Shareholders will be offered the opportunity to buy one new fully paid ordinary share for each four fully paid ordinary shares held in the company at an issue price of AU$0.05 per share to potentially raise approx. AU$4.97 million.
The fund raised via both placement and entitlement offer will be used to accelerate product enhancement, repay AU$0.75 million of debt, provide working capital, and cover the costs of the offer.
