Carbonxt Group Ltd Secures AU$500,000 Through Convertible Note Issue to Strengthen Capital Position
Carbonxt Group Ltd (ASX: CG1) has raised AU$500,000 by issuing Convertible Notes, with significant backing from its major shareholder, Phelbe Pty Ltd. The company intends to offer up to 500,000 Convertible Notes, each valued at AU$1.00, with an exercise price of AU$0.10, and a maturity period of three years. These Convertible Notes will convert into 5,000,000 fully paid ordinary shares, and noteholders will also receive one free-attaching option for every three notes held, exercisable at AU$0.10.
The funds raised will be allocated towards working capital and to enhance Carbonxt’s investment in New Carbon Processing, LLC, increasing its ownership to 47.4%. The securities will be issued in accordance with the company’s ASX Listing Rule 7.1 placement capacity. This move will further support Carbonxt’s growth, particularly in its efforts to develop innovative activated carbon solutions for industrial processes.
