Caravel Minerals Ltd European Export Credit Agency Financing Update

Caravel Minerals Ltd (ASX: CVV) has received significant backing for its Caravel Copper Project with Letters of Interest (LOIs) from two prominent European Export Credit Agencies (ECAs). Finnvera plc, Finland’s official ECA, has expressed interest in financing up to 85% of the value of Metso’s copper concentrator equipment imported to Australia. 

Additionally, KfW IPEX, part of Germany’s KfW Group, is considering a senior debt contribution of up to USD 220 million, backed by Finnvera, for the project. These LOIs highlight the growing European interest in the project and the potential to secure a diversified funding package, which includes offtake partner equity, precious metal streaming, and traditional project debt. Caravel is progressing discussions with various parties to finalize a comprehensive funding solution for the development of the copper project.
