BKI Investment Company announced 1HFY23 results

BKI Investment Company Limited (ASX: BKI) announced its 1HFY23 ended 31 December 2022 results as follows:

1. Total revenue rose 13% in 1HFY23 to AU$36.3 million from AU$32.2 million.

2. Net Profit after tax (NPAT) decreased 34% in 1HFY23 to AU$36.8 million from AU$55.7 million.

3. The company’s total shareholder return was 15.4% for the year. It was significantly outperforming the S&P/ASX 300 Accumulation Index by 15.2%.

4. Its net portfolio return for the year is 3.9%, outperforming the S&P/ASX 300 Accumulation Index by 5.7%.

5. The BKI’s board has announced an interim ordinary dividend of 3.70 cents per share and an interim special dividend of 0.50 cents per share, both fully franked at the tax rate of 30%.

6. The company has broad exposure in various sectors; which are Materials, Energy, and Banks, with 15.6%, 13.4%, and 12.9%, respectively.
