Artemis Broadens Exposure to Frontier IOCG Copper Opportunity
Artemis Resources Limited (ASX: ARV) has strengthened its strategic position in Western Australia’s emerging Madura Copper Province through an earn-in and joint venture agreement with Red Metal Limited over the Sharon Dam IOCG target. Under the agreement, Artemis can earn a 60% interest by committing a minimum AU$5 million in exploration expenditure over three years, including an initial AU$400,000 drilling programme supported by approximately AU$220,000 in government co-funding. Sharon Dam is a large, previously undrilled IOCG target defined by coincident magnetic and gravity anomalies within a frontier belt located south of the Cassowary Intrusion.
The transaction materially expands Artemis’ copper–gold footprint to 1,180km² along the Madura Crustal Boundary, an emerging structural corridor with potential for multiple intrusive systems. Shallow cover and established access provide a cost-effective pathway to drilling, targeted for early 2026, while staged expenditure preserves flexibility and downside protection.
