AKORA Resources Launches $3.3 million Capital Raise to Accelerate Bekisopa Project
AKORA Resources Limited (ASX: AKO) has announced a capital raising of up to AU$3.3 million through a combination of a placement and a pro-rata entitlement offer. The initiative aims to strengthen funding for its Bekisopa iron ore project in Madagascar following the recent approval of the mining permit. Proceeds will be directed toward permitting activities, project financing discussions, community engagement, and working capital needs.
The placement is expected to generate about AU$1.6 million, while the entitlement offer could contribute an additional AU$1.7 million if fully subscribed. The offer price reflects a modest discount to recent trading levels.
