QMines Limited (ASX: QML) has reported further high-grade mineralisation from its 100%-owned Mt Chalmers Copper and Gold Project in Central Queensland. Drilling returned a broad 32-metre intersection grading 1.99% copper, 0.39g/t gold and 2.6g/t silver from 138 metres. The interval included a stronger 7-metre section grading 4.18% copper, with a peak one-metre result of 11.3% copper.
A separate shallow polymetallic zone delivered 25 metres grading 2.08g/t gold, 92g/t silver, 2.56% zinc and 0.19% copper from 56 metres. Within this zone, a 7-metre interval returned 5.79g/t gold, 147g/t silver and 5.16% zinc.
The mineralised system remains open, providing scope for further evaluation. QMines continues its 10,000-metre drilling campaign, with assays from 10 additional holes awaiting laboratory results. The ongoing program is also contributing technical information to the Mt Chalmers Definitive Feasibility Study.
