WOR awarded a new contract for Greenfield petrochemical complex by Borouge

Worley Limited (ASX: WOR) been awarded by Borouge 4 LLC for the 4th expansion of Borouge’s integrated polyolefins complex in Ruwais, UAE. WOR believes that this expansion will increase Borouge’s production capacity of polyolefins, together with polyethylene as well as polypropylene to 6.4 million tonnes yearly from its existing 5 million tonnes per annum capacity. It would help to meet the rising demand for polyolefins by manufacturers across the EMEA and APAC region.

As per the deal, the company will give project management consultancy services to expand Borouge 4 for the engineering, procurement, & construction stage. WOR’s Abu Dhabi office will execute the project management consultancy services with support from its global offices.
