Pro Medicus Secures AU$23 Million Imaging Deal with UMMS
Pro Medicus Limited (ASX: PME) has entered into a five-year contract valued at AU$23 million with the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), reinforcing its presence in the North American healthcare IT market. The agreement, signed through its subsidiary Visage Imaging, involves the deployment of the Visage 7 Enterprise Imaging Platform, including Viewer and Workflow solutions, via a cloud-based model.
The platform will provide UMMS with a unified enterprise imaging system designed to enhance diagnostic efficiency and streamline radiology workflows across its network. The contract follows a transaction-based licensing structure, offering potential upside beyond the base value.
Deployment preparations are scheduled to commence right away, with the platform anticipated to become operational in early 2027. The deal reflects increasing demand for scalable, cloud-enabled imaging solutions amid a global shortage of radiologists, positioning Pro Medicus for continued growth in enterprise imaging.
