Ballymore Advances Torpys Drilling with Strong High-Grade Lead-Zinc Intersections.
Ballymore Resources (ASX: BMR) has reported another round of highly encouraging results from maiden RC drilling at the historical Torpy’s silver-lead-zinc mine within the Ruddygore Project. The latest hole, BTPRC004, delivered a standout intersection of 29m of massive to semi-massive sulphides grading approximately 10% sphalerite and 5% galena, including a higher-grade 15m zone with 20% sphalerite and 10% galena. Together with BTPRC002, the drilling confirms extensions of structurally controlled high-grade lenses at shallow depths, validating the geological model targeting fault-intersection “shoots.”
Drilling has temporarily paused for downhole EM surveys to refine follow-up targets, while the rig moves to the nearby Maniopota polymetallic prospect. Parallel exploration continues at Seventy Mile Mount, where drilling has encountered promising breccia and sulphide zones. These developments highlight the strong potential of Ballymore’s Queensland portfolio and set up a busy, catalyst-rich period heading into 2026.
