On 05 December 2022, Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) released September 2022 quarter estimates of private sector sales, wages, profits and inventories.

Current price estimates for the September quarter 2022:

  • Company gross operating profits declined 12.4% seasonally adjusted.
  • Wages and salaries improved 2.9% seasonally adjusted.

Chain volume estimates for the September quarter 2022:

  • Inventories increased 1.7% seasonally adjusted.
