Verity Resources Limited (ASX: VRL) has secured renewed tenure over four key prospecting licences in eastern Botswana, strengthening its position across the Airstrip, Dibete and Maibele North projects. The licences cover copper-silver and nickel-copper-PGE assets and have been extended for another two years.

The company’s Botswana portfolio includes high-grade historical copper-silver results. Airstrip has recorded an intersection of 11 metres at 7.63% copper and 462g/t silver, while Dibete has delivered 25 metres at 2.17% copper and 77g/t silver. Maibele North contains an Inferred JORC 2012 Mineral Resource of 2.4 million tonnes grading 0.72% nickel, 0.21% copper and 0.63g/t combined PGE and gold.Exploration momentum is also continuing, with soil sampling underway across an additional 903km² area. The company said the renewed tenure provides a platform to further investigate its broader copper-silver and critical-metals potential in the region.
