Capital Raise to Accelerate Development

Tamboran Resources Corporation (ASX: TBN) has announced an equity raising of approximately US$198 million to support the accelerated development of its Beetaloo Basin assets. The funding structure includes an underwritten public offering alongside an entitlement offer, reflecting a strategic push to scale operations and advance key projects.

Funds Target Drilling and Infrastructure Expansion

The proceeds will be directed toward additional drilling in the pilot area, resource delineation across the Orion acreage and Beetaloo Central Development Area, as well as participation in further exploration activities. The capital will also support infrastructure development and general corporate purposes, positioning the company to progress multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Strengthening Path Toward Commercialisation

Management highlighted that the capital raising builds on recent operational progress and supports the company’s broader development program. Strategic partnerships and ongoing activities across the basin are expected to enhance confidence in the asset base and support the transition toward commercial production over time.

Structured Offering to Attract Investors

The equity raising is priced at a discount to recent trading levels, a move aimed at encouraging participation from both institutional and retail investors. Approximately 5.7 million new shares are expected to be issued, representing around 25% of current shares on issue.

Outlook

With fresh capital and a clear development focus, Tamboran is advancing its strategy to unlock the potential of the Beetaloo Basin, while maintaining flexibility to execute its growth plans in a capital-intensive sector.
