These funds will primarily support Ovanti’s U.S. Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) operations, including merchant agreements and partnerships, along with global operations and ongoing legal and working capital expenses.
The capital raise, conducted within the company’s ASX Listing Rule 7.1A placement capacity, reflects strong demand from professional and sophisticated investors. The shares are offered at a price that is 15% lower than the 15-day volume-weighted average price (VWAP).
Partnership with Clee Capital and Issuance of Options
Clee Capital Pty Ltd managed the placement and will receive a 6% fee on the raised funds. Furthermore, Clee Capital will receive 60 million options, each with an exercise price of AU$0.003, valid for a three-year period.
Outlook and Expansion Plans
With these funds, Ovanti is positioned to accelerate its U.S. BNPL initiatives, a core element of its growth strategy. Building on its success in Malaysia and Indonesia, Ovanti aims to extend its fintech services in the U.S. market, capitalising on the growing demand for BNPL solutions.
