By the end of the trading session on 11 April 2025, the benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 closed lower by 0.82% and settled at 7,646.50. Out of 11 sectors, 10 sectors ended lower along with the S&P/ASX 200.

Energy and Healthcare are the top-losing sectors,losing 2.97% and 2.49% in their index values. Meanwhile, Consumer Discretionary is the top-gaining sector, gaining 0.41% in their index value.

Emerald Resources NL (ASX: EMR) and Evolution Mining Limited (ASX: EVN) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 7.631% and 5.952% in their stock prices. On the other hand, Mesoblast Limited (ASX: MSB) and HMC Capital Limited (ASX: HMC) are the top-losing stocks, losing 10.663% and 7.490% in their stock prices.
