ASX/200 Closed Lower by 0.75%, Dragged down by Financial

By the end of the trading session on 13 November 2024, the benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 closed lower by 0.75% and settled at 8,193.40. Out of 11 sectors, 10 sectors ended lower along with the S&P/ASX 200.

Financial and Industrials are the top-gaining sectors, gaining 1.07% and 1.06% in their index value. On the other hand, Utilities are the top-losing sectors, losing 0.58% in their index value.

Paladin Energy Limited (ASX: PDN) and James Hardie Industries PLC (ASX: JHX) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 8.575% and 6.190% in their stock prices. On the other hand, Life 360 Inc (ASX: 360) and Mineral Resources Limited (ASX: MIN)  went down by 7.442% and 7.196% respectively are the top-losing stocks.
