ASX/200 Closed Higher by 0.89%, Lifted by Information Technology

By the end of the trading session on 18 November 2024, the benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 closed higher by 0.89% and settled at 8,374.00. All of 11 sectors ended higher along with the S&P/ASX 200.

Information Technology and Telecommunications Services are the top-gaining sectors, gaining 3.12% and 1.52% in their index value.

Technology One Limited (ASX: TNE) and Sonic Healthcare Limited (ASX: SHL) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 10.052% and 6.832% in their stock prices. On the other hand, Elders Limited (ASX: ELD) and Neuren Pharmaceuticals Limited (ASX: NEU) went down by 10.868% and 5.311% respectively are the top-losing stocks.
