ASX/200 Closed Higher by 0.74%, Lifted by Utilities

By the end of the trading session on 15 November 2024, the benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 closed higher by 0.74% and settled at 8,285.20. Out of 11 sectors, 10 sectors ended higher along with the S&P/ASX 200.

Utilities and Financial are the top-gaining sectors, gaining 2.39% and 1.46% in their index value. On the other hand Healthcare are the top-losing sectors, losing 1.76% in their index value.

Capricorn Metals Limited (ASX: CMM) and Nine Entertainment Co. Holdings Limited (ASX: NEC) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 5.042% and 4.824% in their stock prices. On the other hand, Healius Limited (ASX: HLS) and Graincorp Limited (ASX: GNC) went down by 16.038% and 5.123% respectively are the top-losing stocks.
