ASX/200 Closed Higher by 0.60%, Lifted by Industrials

By the end of the trading session on 12 February 2025, the benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 closed higher by 0.60% and settled at 8,535.30. Out of 11 sectors, 05 ended higher along with the S&P/ASX 200.

Industrials and Financial are the top-gaining sectors, gaining 1.87% and 1.33% % in their index value. On the other hand, Information Technology and Materials is the top-losing sector, losing 1.45% and 0.54% in their index value.

Computershare Limited (ASX: CPU) and The Star Entertainment Group Limited (ASX: SGR) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 15.350% and 6.250% in their stock prices. On the other hand, Amotiv Limited (ASX: AOV) and Perseus Mining Limited (ASX: PRU) went down by 7.063% and 5.556% respectively are the top-losing stocks.
