ASX/200 Closed Higher by 0.56%, Lifted by Information Technology

By the end of the trading session on 04 November 2024, the benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 closed lower by 0.56% and settled at 8,164.60. Out of the 11 sectors, 09 sectors ended lower along with the S&P/ASX 200.

Information Technology and Utilities are the top-gaining sector, gaining 1.71% and 1.70% in their index value. On the other hand, Energy and Materials are the top-losing sectors, losing 0.71% and 0.46% in their index value.

Telix Pharmaceuticals Limited (ASX: TLX) and Westgold Resources Limited (ASX: WSX) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 3.496% and 3.225% in their stock prices. On the other hand, Mineral Resources Limited (ASX: MIN) and Boss Energy Limited (ASX: BOE)  went down by 9.629% and 7.559% respectively are the top-losing stocks.
