ASX/200 Closed Higher by 0.35%, Lifted by A-REIT

By the end of the trading session on 30 April 2024, the benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 ended higher by 0.35% and settled at 7,664.10. Out of 11 sectors, 09 sectors closed higher along with the ASX 200.

A-REIT and Consumer Discretionary sectors were the top-gaining sectors, gaining 0.85% and 0.79% respectively in their index values. On the other hand, Industrials and Utilities sectors were the top-lossing sectors, lossing 0.53% and 0.12% respectively in their index values.

Arcadium Lithium Limited (ASX: LTM) and IGO Limited (ASX: IGO) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 8.387% and 7.327% in their stock prices. On the other hand, Worley Limited (ASX: WOR) and Megaport Limited (ASX: MP1) are the top-losing stocks and are declining by 7.481% and 4.256% in their stock prices.
