By the end of the trading session on 25 October 2024, the benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 closed higher by 0.06% and settled at 8,211.30. Out of the 11 sectors, 06 sectors ended higher along with the S&P/ASX 200.

Information Technology and Healthcare are the top-losing sectors, losing 3.34% and 0.53% in their index value. On the other hand, Consumer Staples and Industrials are the top-losing sectors, losing 1.19% and 0.63% in their index value.

Wisetech Global Limited (ASX: WTC) and HMC Capital Limited (ASX: HMC) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 12.710% and 12.486% in their stock prices. On the other hand, Newmont Corporation (ASX: NEM) and Mineral Resources Limited (ASX: MIN)  went down by 13.595% and 4.985% respectively are the top-losing stocks.
