Consumer Staples and Financial are the top-gaining sectors, gaining 1.40% and 0.77% in their index value. Energy and Telecommunications Services are the top-losing sectors, losing 1.41% and 1.35% in their index value.

Zip Co Limited (ASX: ZIP) and Perseus Mining Limited (ASX: PRU) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 13.875% and 5.905% in their stock prices.
