ASX 200 Ended Lower By 0.07%; Ahead of US CPI Data

By the end of the trading session on 13 October 2022, the benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 ended lower by 0.07% and settled at 6,642.60. Out of 11 sectors, 9 sectors closed lower along with the ASX 200.

The Financial and Consumer Discretionary sectors were the top 2 gaining sectors, gained 1.39% and 0.07% in their index values. On the other hand, the A-REIT and Healthcare sectors were the top 2 declining sectors, declined by 1.87% and 1.04% in their index values.

Qantas Airways Limited (ASX: QAN) and Kelsian Group Limited (ASX: KLS) were the top gainers, with 8.704% and 6.278% growth in share prices, respectively. On the other hand, NIB Holdings Limited (ASX: NHF) and Graincorp Limited (ASX: GNC) were the top losers, with an 11.984% and 6.279% drop in share prices, respectively.
