The Information Technology and Telecommunication Services sectors were the 2 top gaining sectors, gained 3.76% and 1.05% in its index value. On the other hand, the Energy and Materials sectors were the top 2 declining sectors, declined by 1.32% and 0.77% in their index values.
Paladin Energy Limited (ASX: PDN) and AUB Group Limited (ASX: IMU) were the top gainers, with 9.352% and 6.000% growth in share prices, respectively. On the other hand, Nickel Industries Limited (ASX: NIC) and Bellevue Gold Limited were the top losers, with a 7.654% and 7.037% drop in share prices, respectively.
