ASX/200 Closed Lower By 0.11%; Dragged down by Information Technology

By the end of the trading session on 27 September 2023, the benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 ended lower by 0.11% and settled at 7,030.30. Out of 11 sectors, 08 sectors closed lower along with the ASX 200.

A-REIT and Financial sectors were the top-gaining sectors, gaining 0.44% and 0.12% respectively in their index values. Information Technology and Materials sectors were the top-declining sectors, gaining 1.05% and 0.78% respectively in their index values.

Resmed Inc. (ASX: RMD) and Tabcorp Holdings Limited (ASX: TAH) were the top gainers, with 4.990% and 3.626% growth in share prices, respectively. The Star Entertainment Limited (ASX: SGR) and De Grey Mining Limited (ASX: DEG) were the top losers, with 16.000% and 4.701% drop in share prices, respectively.
