ASX/200 Closed Higher by 0.41%, Lifted by Information Technology

By the end of trading session on 27 October 2025, benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 closed 0.15% higher at 9,055.60. Out of 11 sectors, 09 sectors ended higher along with the S&P/ASX 200.

Information Technology and Energy were the top-gaining sectors, gaining 0.89% and 0.87% in their values. On the other hand, Healthcare and Telecommunications services were the top-losing sectors, losing 0.64% and 0.02% in their values.

AUB Group Limited (ASX: LTR) and Steadfast Group Limited (ASX: SDF) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 12.087% and 6.208% in their stock prices. On the other hand, Iluka Resources Limited (ASX: ILU) and Ramelius Resources Limited (ASX: RMS) are the top-losing stocks, losing 6.875% and 5.715% in their stock prices.

  • In regional trading, the Hang Seng Index rose 0.90%, while the FTSE 100 added 0.70%.
