Zenith Minerals Limited (ASX: ZNC) has commenced a new Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling program at its Red Mountain Gold Project in Queensland's Auburn Arc. Partnering with Strike Drilling, the program targets key zones identified by updated 3D geological modeling and reinterpreted geophysical data. Spanning approximately 2,400 meters across 10-12 holes, this campaign will further explore Induced Polarisation (IP) anomalies. Significant prior results include a 118m intercept grading 0.54 g/t Au from 225m, with strong gold and silver prospects within a large breccia pipe system.
Since discovering the project in 2017, Zenith has drilled 51 holes, revealing high-grade intercepts like 13m at 8.0 g/t Au from surface. Metallurgical tests have shown promising recoveries, with up to 95.8% in low-arsenic samples. Situated near key infrastructure, the project benefits from logistical advantages, supporting Zenith’s goal for cost-effective gold production and positioning Red Mountain as a core asset with substantial mineral potential.
