YPB Partners with Ecocan in Kenyan Recycling Initiative

YPB Group Limited (ASX: YPB) has secured a three-year Master Service Agreement with Ecocan Recycling Company Limited, marking a significant advancement in Africa's recycling efforts, initially starting in Kenya. The partnership is set to enhance the recycling of PET bottles, aluminum cans, glass bottles, and cartons through a vending deposit return scheme.

YPB's innovative ProtectCodeTM technology will be crucial, as it will be used to serialize recyclable beverage containers to prevent fraudulent redemption, aiming to generate up to A$800,000 annually if fully implemented. This deal, which potentially values multiples higher than any previous YPB contracts, represents a strategic move to tackle beverage container pollution and improve recycling infrastructure across the continent.
