XRF Scientific Ltd (ASX: XRF) reported strong results for the December 2024 half-year, with revenue reaching AU$28.7 million and Profit Before Tax increasing 13% to AU$7.0 million. Net Profit After Tax rose 12% to AU$5.0 million, and operating cash inflow surged 105% to AU$4.4 million. The December quarter set a record with AU$3.8 million in profit before tax from AU$15.4 million in revenue.
The Consumables division performed exceptionally well, generating AU$3.6 million in profit before tax from AU$9.6 million in revenue, driven by high demand from the mining sector. The Precious Metals division reported AU$10.3 million in revenue and AU$1.7 million in profit before tax, supported by firm recurring orders. The Capital Equipment division recorded a profit before tax of AU$1.8 million from AU$10.1 million in revenue, with Orbis’ profit contribution nearly doubling. International sales growth, successful cross-selling, and cost-effective production strategies drive XRF’s positive momentum.
