Viridis Mining and Minerals reports groundbreaking discoveries in rare earth elements (REEs) at Colossus. High-grade REEs were found at the Capão da Onça (CDO) Prospect, marking a breakthrough in the unexplored western quarter of the Alkaline Complex. Results from maiden auger and diamond drilling at CDO revealed the highest grades reported at Colossus to date. The company holds a dominant land position of ~14km² in this new region. Diamond drilling assays at Fazenda and Cupim South unveiled widespread homogenous mineralization.
Auger drilling across 3 additional licenses produced outstanding high-grade REE assays. Viridis anticipates growing the understanding of a world-class Ionic Adsorption Clay (IAC) ore body, positioning Colossus among the highest-grade and largest globally. With over 100 auger holes and 19 diamond holes awaiting assays, exploration drilling is set to resume at Northern Concessions and Cupim South Prospect. Viridis' Executive Chairman, Agha Shahzad Pervez, emphasizes the significance of these results and the potential for further discoveries in the unexplored Western Province.
