Vintage Energy Ltd (ASX: VEN), operator of the PRL 211 and ATP 2021 joint ventures, announced that dual-well production has commenced at the Odin gas field, with Odin-1 back online from 16 October. Total raw gas production now stands at 5.3 MMscf/d, up from 1.4 MMscf/d before recent field operations. Initial combined output reached 5.8 MMscf/d, but Odin-2’s current production has decreased to 1.7 MMscf/d from an earlier 3.0 MMscf/d. Meanwhile, Odin-1’s output increased to 3.6 MMscf/d, above its previous average of 3.3 MMscf/d.
A rise in water production, mostly from Odin-1, was noted, prompting further assessments. Production logging will be conducted to analyze zonal gas and fluid contributions, informing optimization strategies. Vali-1 continues to perform steadily, producing 1.0 MMscf/d. Vintage holds a 50% stake in the project, with Metgasco Ltd and Bridgeport Cooper Basin Pty Ltd each holding 25%.
