This strategic move aligns with its commitment to drive forward exploration efforts at the highly promising Reward gold mine. It has secured the Boart Longyear LM90 underground drill rig to intensify its exploration activities at the Reward gold mine, specifically beneath the existing resource. The acquisition of the LM90 follows a comprehensive evaluation of the mineralization potential beneath the Reward resource. This area, known as the 'Reward mid-depths,' has been only minimally explored, presenting a significant opportunity for discovery.
Upon commissioning the LM90 drill rig, Vertex is poised to carry out an ambitious plan involving eight drill holes to target the high-grade Fosters Exploration target. This acquisition marks a pivotal moment in its quest to unlock the full potential of the Reward gold mine.
