Verity Resources Limited (ASX: VRL) has reported impressive auger drilling results from its Pimenta Project in Minas Gerais, Brazil, confirming extensive near-surface rare earth element (REE) mineralisation within weathered granite-hosted soils. The drilling program, comprising 38 holes, returned high-grade intersections including 4m @ 2,683ppm TREO with 26% MREO and 7m @ 2,193ppm TREO with 28% MREO. These findings highlight a continuous REE zone extending across 20km of geophysical anomalies.
The mineralisation is predominantly allanite-hosted, with over 90% light rare earth elements, indicating strong metallurgical potential.
