UVRE Limited (ASX: UVA) is delighted to announce the successful acquisition of 100% of the issued share capital of Uranium SA Pty Ltd. This acquisition includes the SA Uranium Project, which encompasses two promising exploration licenses in the uranium-abundant Frome Basin region in South Australia. The acquired licenses, namely the Frome Downs (EL6996) and Yankaninna (EL6995) Projects, span 521km square of strategically located ground in and around the uranium-rich Frome Basin.
Noteworthy for hosting significant uranium deposits and operational mines, the Frome Basin is a key area for uranium exploration and extraction. It is essential to highlight that South Australia stands out as the sole Australian state, besides the Northern Territory, permitting the mining and processing of uranium ore. This strategic move not only solidifies UVRE's presence in the uranium sector but also underlines its unwavering commitment to exploring and leveraging the potential of the vibrant South Australian uranium landscape.
