Unlocking Mumbezhi Copper Project: Acquisition Milestone

Prospect Resources Limited (ASX: PSC) confirms the issuance of securities to Orpheus Uranium Limited (ASX: ORP) according to the agreement announced on April 9, 2024. This includes 8,333,333 ordinary shares and 6,250,000 unlisted options. Sam Hosack, Prospect’s Managing Director, highlights the significance of gaining access to Orpheus/Argonaut's mining and geological data for the Mumbezhi Copper Project in Zambia.

The seamless transfer of data has enabled Prospect to analyze a decade's worth of exploration data efficiently. With well-preserved physical materials, Prospect aims to deliver a maiden copper mineral resource estimate by Q3 2024. The focus now shifts to finalizing the transaction with GDC for an 85% interest in the Project license by the end of May. The company assures compliance with relevant regulations regarding the issuance of shares.
