Tyro Payments Limited (ASX: TYR) has appointed Nigel Lee as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 12, 2026, following a handover from outgoing CEO Jon Davey. With over 25 years of global experience in payments, fintech, and digital commerce, Lee brings expertise from senior roles at Ingenico, American Express, MoneyGram, and APIS Partners. Known for driving growth and digital transformation, he has also served on CapGemini’s World Payments Report committee and the Emerging Payments Association Asia board. Tyro Chair Fiona Pak Poy highlighted Lee’s strategic and leadership strengths as aligning with Tyro’s growth ambitions. Outgoing CEO Jon Davey was commended for steering Tyro to profitability and operational excellence. Lee expressed enthusiasm about leading one of Australia’s leading fintechs into its next growth phase. Currently based in Singapore, he will relocate to Sydney to assume his new role
