True North Copper Expands Mt Oxide Discovery Beyond 500m Strike.
True North Copper (ASX: TNC) has significantly expanded its Mt Oxide copper-cobalt-silver discovery in Northwest Queensland, extending the mineralised strike length to over 500 metres. Phase 2 drilling returned exceptional results, including 103m @ 0.53% Cu, 0.1% Co, 2.6 g/t Ag and 72m @ 0.55% Cu, 0.16% Co, 5.6 g/t Ag, with higher-grade zones reaching up to 1.76% Cu and 11.1 g/t Ag. These results extend the mineralised zone by an additional 400 metres north, confirming strong continuity and growth potential.
The discovery reinforces Mt Oxide’s potential as a large-scale, high-grade copper system within the Cloncurry region. With multiple assays still pending, True North Copper continues to advance exploration across the Aquila, Acanthis, and Apollo trends, targeting further extensions. The company remains focused on building a robust copper-cobalt resource to support Australia’s growing demand for critical minerals.
