Top News gaining market attention

Vladimir Putin will be hosting Kremlin ceremony annexing four regions of Ukraine. However, the Ukrainian counterpart believes that would have to be stopped to avoid further damages due to war.

  1. Gold prices have increased, driven by a pullback in the dollar value. Thus, it would be interesting to identify whether there will be a further increase in gold prices.
  2. The impact of the US-China technology fight was seen in the previous trading session on Wall Street. Many tech players witnessed a drop in the share price.
  3. China’s latest PMI data showed the country’s manufacturing sector unexpectedly in September 2022. China Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index provides an early month indication of economic activities. However, private data reported a downfall in manufacturing due to COVID-19 lockdowns. It would be interesting to watch how these data will impact the market in the coming days.
