The Star Entertainment Group Faces Trading Suspension Amid Financial Uncertainty

The Star Entertainment Group (ASX: SGR) has announced that its Half-Year Financial Report (1HFY25) for the period ending December 31, 2024, was not submitted by the required deadline of February 28, 2025. As a result, the company’s shares have been suspended from trading on the ASX.

The suspension will remain in effect until the report is lodged and the ASX approves the reinstatement of the company’s shares. The delay is primarily due to the need for a refinancing commitment that would allow The Star to refinance its existing corporate debt and improve liquidity.

The company acknowledges significant uncertainty regarding its ability to continue as a going concern and will keep shareholders and the market updated on any material developments.
