The James Bay Mineral Resource of AKE Increased by 173â„… to 110.2 million tonnes

Allkem Limited (ASX: AKE) has released an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its James Bay Lithium Project in Québec, Canada. The updated estimate shows a Mineral Resource of 110.2 million tonnes, with a grade of 1.30% Li2O. Of this total, 54.3 million tonnes are classified as Indicated, and an additional 55.9 million tonnes are classified as Inferred. This new estimate solidifies the James Bay Lithium Deposit as a tier-1 lithium pegmatite mineral resource and a valuable long-term asset.

It is worth noting that the maiden Inferred Mineral Resource in the NW Sector of the project remains open along strike and at depth, indicating the potential for further growth. To explore this potential, Allkem Limited has planned a significant campaign of infill and extensional drilling during the Canadian winter.
