Terramins Kapunda Copper Project gains vital environmental approval from South Australia

Terramin Australia Limited (ASX: TZN) and Environmental Copper Recovery Pty Ltd (ECR) have obtained essential environmental clearance from the South Australian Government for the Kapunda Copper Project. This clearance signifies progress in the In-Situ Recovery (ISR) phase, specifically the Site Environmental Lixiviant Test (SELT). In this imminent push/pull trial, a biodegradable solution will blend with groundwater and be placed within the orebody.

The solution will remain in situ for a designated period, undergoing sampling and monitoring before extraction and site rehabilitation. This test will yield comprehensive data encompassing copper dissolution, hydrogeological parameters, and rehabilitation. This data will be instrumental in shaping the next significant field trial scheduled for early 2024.
